Free Innovation Workshops for Businesses

Turn ideas into practical improvements

Every business, irrespective of size or sector, needs to be able to innovate: to be able to recognise opportunities; create new possibilities; identify the most valuable ones and translate these into viable products or services.

SMEs and micro SMEs often find this challenging due to the pressures of running the enterprise day-to-day. Rapid design-led approaches to innovation can help to unlock the innate innovation capacity and capability which exists in all of us.

This tried and tested suite of high-intensity, face-to-face workshops will help you to unlock this potential in you and your enterprise by liberating your Creative Confidence and honing your Entrepreneurial Agency. By doing this, we aim to ensure that you remain creatively resilient in order to respond to new opportunities and/or respond to volatility and challenge.

Through three linked sessions, the programme will help you to explore the core values and vision that drive your business; the existing capabilities and capacity that delivers your ‘business as usual’; new opportunities for development and growth.

The series comprises of three workshops over three weeks. There will be two cohorts with sessions taking place on the following dates:

Please note there will be an online session held prior to each workshop too.

What will the workshops cover?

The workshops will give you the opportunity to:

  • consider where your business is on its innovation journey
  • explore how innovation could support your business goals
  • identify opportunities to improve skills, processes or the use of technology
  • think about new products, services, customers or markets
  • share ideas and experiences with other businesses
  • identify practical next steps for your organisation

Who are the workshops for?

The workshops are designed for businesses that want to make improvements, explore new ideas or better understand how innovation could support their future plans.

You do not need to have previous experience of innovation. Whether you already have an idea in mind or are simply interested in exploring the possibilities, the workshops will provide a supportive space to learn, reflect and plan.

What will you gain?

By taking part, you will have an opportunity to look at your current approach, consider where innovation could make the greatest difference and identify ideas that are relevant to your business.

You will also be invited to reflect on the impact that innovation and business improvement can have on you, your staff and your organisation.
